1/14 Knoydart Peninsula, Scotland
The breathtaking beautiful, yet rugged and isolated Knoydart Peninsula is often called Scotland's last wilderness. It's located deep within the northwest Highlands between the Loch of Heaven and the Loch of Hell. The only way to get here is by boat or on foot, though it's well worth the effort with its stunning mountain scenery and picturesque sandy inlets.
You'll even have a chance to spot whales, dolphins and porpoises that live in the surrounding waters, as well as catch unforgettable sunsets. On land, watch for red deer, with a large population living throughout the hills.
